Parkes Energy Recovery To Create Opportunities

On Tuesday 18 March 2025, Councillors and the Council’s Executive Management Team met with representatives from Parkes Energy Recovery, a consortium led by Tribe Infrastructure Group, to discuss their proposed Parkes Energy Recovery facility in the Parkes Special Activation Precinct.

Parkes Shire Council wishes to advise of the following current road closures throughout the Parkes Shire.

Intention to Financially Support the Trundle Children's Centre

On display until 15 April 2025

Parkes Shire Council intends to set aside $100,000 in financial assistance to support a grant application by the Trundle Children's Centre to build a new facility, noting that this support will be withdrawn and the funds will become uncommitted should the grant application not be successful. The funds will be set aside in the Trundle Town Improvement Reserve.
