Urban Heavy Patching

Council wishes to advise that heavy patching works will be undertaken within Parkes Shire Council's Urban Network. 
 
The works are scheduled to commence on Monday 16 January 2023, and are scheduled to proceed in the following order, subject to weather and contractor availability. A full road closure will be in place throughout the duration of the works. 
 
Monday 16 January - Friday 20 January 2023 
  • Cookapie and Moulden Street, between Thomas Street and Back Trundle Road. 
  • Middleton Street, between Kingsford Avenue and Hooley Street.
  • Callaghan Street.
  • Medlyn Street, between The Newell Highway and Park Street, and Fisher and Lee Streets. 
Monday 23 January - Friday 27 January 2023
  • High Street, between Orange and Foster Streets.
  • Hill Street, between Gap and Browne Streets.
Monday 30 January - Friday 3 February 2023
  • Hill Street, between Gap and Browne Streets.
  • Browne Street, between Hill and Currajong Streets.
  • Woodward Street, between East and Lee Streets. 
  • Lee Street, between Woodward and Medlyn Streets.
Monday 6 February - Friday 10 February 2023

Temporary parking restrictions will be in place during the day to facilitate the above road closure and residents are requested to utilise off-street parking while the works are in progress. Pedestrian access will remain available to residents at all times. 
 
Residents are asked to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of staff onsite. 
 
Council appreciates the understanding of residents and businesses during these works to enable Council to complete these works at short notice due to contractor availability.
