Council wishes to advise that site preparation and construction works will be undertaken along Cookamidgera Road, Parkes. The works are in conjunction with Councils successful Fixing Local Roads grant.
Details of the relevant closures are outlined below:
SITE PREPARATION: Council intends to commence site construction works with clearing and grubbing on Monday 14th August 2023 to Friday 18th August 2023 from 7:00am to 5:00pm, weather permitting. These works will be completed under traffic control and access maintained.
ROAD CLOSURE: Council advises that Cookamidgera Road will be subject to a temporary road closure for the purpose of road realignment and construction works from Monday 21 August 2023 to Friday 17th November 2023. During this time, there will be no access through Cookamidgera Road and affected residents are to utilise alternate routes. Please refer to the attached map.
Residents and businesses are requested to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of Traffic Control staff on site.
