Council wishes to advise that road rehabilitation works are to be undertaken along Alluvial Street, between Station Street and Powter Street, Parkes.
Council intends to conduct the works from Monday 6 March 2023 to Friday 10 March 2023, between 7:00am to 5:00pm, weather permitting.
Temporary parking restrictions will be in place to facilitate the above road closure and residents are requested to utilise off-street parking while the works are in progress. Pedestrian access will remain available to residents at all times.
Residents and businesses are requested to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of Traffic Control staff on site.
Access to your property during construction will be available but may be restricted during different stages of construction. Residents are requested to always exercise caution when driving into the work area and to follow the instructions of staff and traffic controllers on site.
Local traffic will be managed around this project to minimise disruption to traffic and adjoining businesses during this time.
Council appreciates the understanding of residents and businesses during these works to enable Council to complete these works at short notice based on Contractor availability.
