Parkes Shire Council wishes to advise of the following temporary road closure and parking restrictions in Parkes for the Country Sounds at the Pavilion fireworks display.
A closure of the laneway alongside the Council Chambers, between Bogan Street and Cecile Street, and the two carparks located either side of the Post Office is scheduled for Saturday 18 November 2023.
The Council carpark (Post Office Carpark) will be closed from 12:00pm-9:00pm. During this time, no cars are permitted to park in the area. Parking restrictions will be in place along the northern side of Cecile Street, between Bogan and Welcome Streets, along with the western side of Welcome Street, between Cecile Street and the St Vincent's De Paul building.
The Council Carpark (Council Carpark) will be closed from 6:00am-9:30pm.
Residents and businesses are requested to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of Traffic Control staff onsite.
