Council wishes to advise that asphalt resurfacing is scheduled to be undertaken along Currajong Street, between Church and Mitchell Streets, Parkes.
There will be disruptions during these works for vehicles, but pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
The works will commence on Wednesday 24 May 2023, from 7:00am to 5:00pm, and are scheduled to proceed in the following order, subject to weather:
Currajong Street, between Mitchell Street and Victoria Street - Wednesday 24 - Friday 26 May.
Currajong Street, between Victoria Street and Bushman Street - Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 May
Currajong Street, between Bushman and Church Street - Monday 29 May – Wednesday 7 June 2023. These will be night works that are to be completed between 6:00pm and 6:00am.
Residents and businesses are requested to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of Traffic Control staff on site. All works will be undertaken using a road closure with local access to residents.
Council appreciates the understanding of residents and businesses during these works to enable Council to complete these works at short notice based on Contractor availability.
