Notice is hereby given that the Cookamidgera Draft Flood Study Report will be on public exhibition between Wednesday 30 October to 5pm Thursday 28 November 2024.
The Cookamidgera Floodplain Study objective is to define flood behaviour from the Quart Pot Creek and Bartley's Creek (also locally known as Flagstone Creek).

Any person may make a submission relating to Cookamidgera Flood Study Report during the exhibition period.
Council staff will be at the Cookamidgera Hall on the following days and times for anyone wishing to view the Draft Flood Study.
- Tuesday 12 November 11am to 3pm
- Tuesday 26 November 11am to 3pm
All submissions must be in writing using the form below, in person at Council's Administration Centre or mailed to The General Manager, Parkes Shire Council, PO Box 337, Parkes NSW 2870.
Submissions must be received by 5:00 pm on Thursday 28 November 2024.

Parkes Shire Council is currently developing and updating Flood Study‘s throughout the Shire. Public comment, review and input to the studies will be sort at a number of different stages for each study via workshops, meetings and public exhibition. Council has a database of interested community members for each study and you will be notified directly as well as more broadly across Council’s communication channels. Please keep an eye on the Council webpage, or if you would like to be notified of any consultation and haven’t previously advised, email council@parkes.nsw.gov.au and advise which study you are interested in.
