Corvette Nationals 2025 Rolls into Parkes

The NSW Corvette Club is bringing the highly anticipated Corvette National Convention to Parkes from Friday, March 28, to Monday, March 31, 2025. With Parkes and nearby Forbes deeply impacted by the 2022 floods, the club chose this region to host the event to support local recovery and bring car enthusiasts together.

On Saturday, March 29, Corvettes will take to the streets for a grand procession through the heart of Parkes, cruising down Clarinda Street past Cooke Park before arriving at the Parkes Showground. From 9:30am to 3:30pm, the Showground will host the Show ‘n’ Shine, where visitors can admire a stunning lineup of Corvettes spanning multiple generations, from the classic first-generation models to the sleek C2 Stingray, the powerful C3, and the modern C8, including the high-performance Z06 and hybrid E-Ray. While only CNC-registered Corvettes will be eligible for judging, all Corvette owners are welcome to display their vehicles.

The event will also feature food trucks, displays from Shannon's Insurance, and GMSV, showcasing the latest Corvette models. Attendees can also pick up official NSW Corvette Car Club merchandise, perfect for those who might not be in the market for a new Corvette but still want a keepsake from the event.

For registered CNC participants, the festivities continue with a special dinner at Parkes Golf Club on Saturday evening. On Sunday, March 30, the convention takes to the road with two scenic Corvette cruises, one heading north to the Parkes Radio Telescope, famously featured in The Dish, while the other travels south to McFeeter’s Car Museum in Forbes. Both groups will come together for lunch at Lions Park in Forbes, providing another chance for the public to see these legendary cars before swapping routes for the afternoon drive.

The evening will wrap up with a gala dinner at Parkes Services Club for CNC entrants, featuring an auction, raffles, and the highly anticipated Show ‘n’ Shine awards presentation. Finally, on Monday, March 31, Corvette owners will bid farewell to Parkes, heading home with cherished memories, new friendships, and a shared passion for these iconic American sports cars.
