GM Announces Retirement After More Than 34 Years at Council

Parkes Shire Council General Manager Kent Boyd PSM has announced he will not seek an extension of his current employment contract, ending more than 34 years of service with Parkes Shire Council, including 15 years as General Manager.

Parkes Shire Council wishes to advise of the following current road closures throughout the Parkes Shire.

Tullamore Standpipe - Currently Unavailable

On Display Indefinitely

Council wishes to advise the Tullamore Standpipe is currently unavailable while works are being undertaken on the reservoir. During this time, residents can access the Trundle or Bogan Gate standpipes instead but will first need to have their cards activated for these locations by contacting Council.
