Over two big weekends on the 9-10 and 16-17 November, the Garage Sale Trail will be coming to Parkes Shire, with the event offering savings for savvy shoppers on everything from the essentials you need, to the pre-loved gems you want.

Notification of Planned Water Operations - Trundle

On display until 27 November 2024

Parkes Shire Council would like to advise that routine maintenance works will be carried out, from Cantrill to East Street, Trundle (inclusive), water will be shut off during this period and a partial road closure.

Notification of Works - Dalton and Bogan Street Carpark

On display until 29 November 2024

Parkes Shire Council would like to inform the community that sealing and associated earthworks will take place at the corner of Dalton Street and Bogan Street, Parkes. Works are scheduled for Monday 11 November 2024 to Thursday 14 November 2024 (weather permitting).

Cookamidgera Draft Flood Study Report

Notice is hereby given that the Cookamidgera Draft Flood Study Report will be on public exhibition between Wednesday 30 October to 5pm Thursday 28 November 2024. The Cookamidgera Floodplain Study objective is to define flood behaviour from the Quart Pot Creek and Bartley's Creek (also locally known as Flagstone Creek).
